There are some themes that are used more often than others. Most Common Decorating Themes for Rustic Homes ![]() That’s because the decor often centers around a central outdoors theme. In ’s effort to bring our log home buyers the best experiences in building their log cabin home kits – we are also always on the lookout for builders and handcrafted artisans that can provide you with a choice of high-quality items for your rustic, primitive log cabin décor. In Search of Quality Log Home Interior Items and Custom Work Artisans When constructed correctly from reclaimed wood that is inspected for continuing sound quality, your cabinet can last yet another hundred years while making your kitchen one of the most inviting rooms in the whole neighborhood. The history of “back-story” of your rustic, reclaimed wood sofa table made from the state Governor’s barn that was built in 1789 and housed 3 championship racehorses is a great conversation piece – and it catches your keys when you walk through the door!Ĭabinets made from reclaimed wood serve the function that you desire, however, the primitive charm and ambiance that comes from using this type of material can hardly be faked. Many great artists can provide you with pieces of art or custom reclaimed furniture that will intrigue your family and friends. Reclaimed barn wood, reclaimed brick and stonework, and custom wood carvings or custom paintings not only preserve natural materials by being repurposed but also preserve history or give you a story that no one else can tell. We appreciate older items because the quality workmanship truly shines through the years of service. ![]() Thus, old pieces that still have useful life or substance can be incorporated into a rustic design for both function and beauty. Those pieces are usually made of material (wrought iron, hammered copper, etc.) that are less commonly used today than a century ago. An old rusty wrought iron gate or cast iron hand pump may have years of wear, but still, convey a look of having worth as a sturdy piece you can still “trust” – that still has the quality and useful life. While that may hold true, it also implies that a piece that is rustic is also substantial, trustworthy, and still viable. Primitive décor and rustic décor do denote an assumption that a piece will appear to be “worn” or of some age. You’ll likely be drawn to prints, large floral patterns, country scene paintings, natural element lamps made of wood, stone, or antlers, and wooden or stone carvings for statues, candleholders, and other accent pieces. Color blocking is perceived as a more modern interior décor approach. Log cabins are often outfitted with heavier furniture pieces and in the case of upholstered pieces, they tend to be the bulkier upholstery. You only need to turn to the earth to get your color palettes and natural items to get your furniture inspirations. The need to “get back to nature” often translates to the furniture and furnishings throughout the home in order to feel more connected with the common woodland or rural settings one usually builds a log home in. ![]() Although luxury log homes can be successfully decorated with modern themes and items, most people tend to decorate with a rustic or primitive flair. When you build your log cabin, you have a period of time to select items and color schemes that will complement the beauty of the structure and wood elements that you will be surrounded with. ![]() That is my spot, I am always there for brunch. The iPhone 12 Pro’s tele-zoom shots offer good quality at closer zoom distances but struggle a little with detail if you zoom out further, though they are an improvement over the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Color rendering is accurate under indoor lighting, but color casts can be noticeable in outdoor images and while the camera also offers good detail retention if you don’t shoot in in very dim conditions, you can often find image noise in indoor and low-light shots. Exposure is mostly good, but our testers found dynamic range to be a little limited, with both highlight and shadow clipping occurring in difficult conditions. The device also achieves an excellent score for its preview image that is closer to the final capture than many other high-end devices. In Photo mode, we found the autofocus system to be one of the highlights, offering fast and accurate performance in most situations. I haven't compared the details yet and I can live with 60Mbps, so I leave it there for now.Ī lot of people will probably tell you to use the max setting for all parameters, but like I said, I have done a lot of testing/pixel peeping on this, and if I can't see a difference, why waist time and space? Also, many times I'm not 100% happy looking at the computer screen, but when watching the footage on a 65" TV screen at normal viewing distance, I'm happy and enjoy the quality. So when you are happy with the settings, save it as a template and re-use it for a very quick startup.īy the way, I have used 60Mbps for UHD for the last year or so, but just for a test, I did a render in 30Mbps, and the quality is pretty good. It takes a lot of time to do all this comparisons, but I have a template for each type and everything is set when I open the template. Take a few screenshots and compare them to see if there are any difference. ![]() Same with the "use maximum render quality" and "render at maximum depth". If I can't see any difference from several images, I'll go for the faster one. Regarding the one or two pass rendering, I have tested this by doing one of each, grabbing a video screenshot of the exact same frame (easy in Premiere) and really pixel peeping the details in Photoshop. My "standard" UHD export settings is pretty much the same as the settings in your screenshot, except the "render at maximum depth", "use maximum render quality", the bitrate and frames per second (I'm in PAL land). But with the few adjustments you did, it's a lot faster, and it's always a compromise between speed and quality. The PCIe SSD disks are very fast today (up to more than 2GB/sec), but ram read/write speed is even faster (from about 12-14GB/sec for DDR4), so I still think your main bottleneck is the amount of ram. On my system I set the max memory to 58Gb as I said in the last post, and that would be like telling Premiere to "use whatever you want" (and very often the memory usage goes up to above 30Gb during rendering). If I understand it correctly, Premiere will then use more cache files instead of ram (writing files to disk instead of to the faster ram). ![]() Sounds good! The low memory usage is probably because you set Premiere to use max XX Gb for the rendering (Preferences, Memory). Is one pass bit rate encoding OK? Will it significantly effect the final video? I changed it to one pass and it cut the render time in half (which makes sense), down to about 6-1/2 minutes. I dropped it to 30 Mbps per your advice and that dropped render time from 17 minutes to around 13 minutes. I was rendering at 80 MBPS (must have been a default because I didn't set that). Memory monitor showed that I had 11 Gb memory free, It drops to a little under 7 Gb free while rendering. Unfortunately the list of supported cards is a short read.I added the name of the card to the list in the file "cuda_supported_cards.txt".
